Which one suits you
Choose Secrets.ai if you want clear prices and a usable free tier
Its prices are published, the free tier gives you 20 messages a day to try it properly, and cancelling is a couple of clicks. Watch the Moments balance if you generate images or video, and note that sale prices apply to the first charge only before renewing at the regular price.
Choose Girlfriend GPT if you mainly want to build your own characters
It's built around creating characters and chatting with ones other users have made. The free allowance is small, so expect to decide quickly whether to pay, and pick monthly over annual because paid plans aren't refundable.
Whichever you pick
- Start on the free tier and pay monthly before you commit to a year.
- Use a separate email and never share your real name, address, workplace or face photos.
- Don't upload photos of real people without their consent. Girlfriend GPT's terms forbid it, and it can be illegal.
- Put a reminder in your calendar a couple of days before each renewal.
- Check you're on the official site. Lookalike apps with similar names are common.

Which is cheaper?
Girlfriend GPT's reported entry plan is lower, but Secrets.ai's free tier is far more generous and its annual Premium plan works out at about $9.17 a month. Heavy image or video use costs extra on both.
Can I get a refund?
Don't count on it with either. Cancel before the renewal date instead.
