How to cancel Secrets.ai
Cancelling Secrets.ai takes about a minute on its Subscription page. The part most people miss is that cancelling doesn't delete anything: your chats, memories, characters and generated images stay on the account until you delete them or the account itself.
How we wrote this. These steps come from Secrets.ai's own help wiki (Cancelling, and Subscription Tiers & Limits) and the company's published product facts, all checked on October 17, 2026. Menu names can change, so follow the labels on screen if they differ slightly.
Step 1: Cancel the subscription (stops future charges)
- Log in at secrets.ai in your browser (Secrets.ai isn't on the Apple App Store or Google Play, so there's no app-store subscription to look for).
- Go to Settings, then Manage Subscription, or open the Subscription page directly (secrets.ai/subscription).
- Click Cancel Subscription. You'll be asked for a short reason.
- Confirm. Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen.
According to the wiki, you keep full access to your plan, including any Moments left in this cycle, until the billing period ends. After that the account drops to the Free tier (20 messages a day).
What happens after you cancel
| Thing | What the help wiki says |
|---|---|
| Access | Continues until the end of the period you've paid for, then moves to Free |
| Monthly Moments grant | Usable until the period ends; grants don't roll over |
| Purchased (top-up) Moments | Never expire, but Free accounts can't buy more or use paid-only features such as video |
| Chats, memories, characters, images | All kept on your account. Nothing is deleted by cancelling |
| Refund | None for the current period: cancelling only stops future charges |
| Changing your mind | Card subscriptions can be resumed before the period ends; crypto subscriptions need a new checkout |
Special cases
- You paid with crypto. The wiki says crypto subscriptions can't be resumed, only repurchased, so there's nothing recurring to worry about after the term ends. Check the Subscription page anyway.
- You redeemed a G2A key. Prepaid keys don't auto-renew. The plan simply runs out and the account moves to Free.
- You're on an old Lite or Plus plan. These are being retired and moved to Premium with at least 14 days' notice. Cancelling before the date in your notice means you won't be charged the Premium price.
Step 2: Delete your chats or your whole account (optional)
If you want your data gone rather than just the billing stopped, the company says you can:
- delete individual memories and clear chats (with or without keeping memories);
- delete custom characters you made; and
- permanently delete your account and data from Settings at any time.
Cancel the subscription first, then delete the account. If you can't find the option, email [email protected] from the address on the account and ask for the account and its data to be deleted. Keep the reply.
If you're still charged
- Look for "S LABS INC" on your statement. That's the billing name the company says it uses.
- Contact support ([email protected] or the in-app support chat) with the date and amount.
- If a charge arrives after a confirmed cancellation, it's a billing error you can dispute with your card issuer. Our general cancellation guide has a copy-and-paste message.
Quick version
Settings → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription → confirm. You keep access until the period ends, with no refund for it. Then delete the account in Settings if you want your chats gone too.
Not sure you want to leave? Our guide to Moments explains where the money goes, and our Secrets.ai review covers the rest.
