Short answer: Moments are Secrets.ai's single in-app currency. Text chat never costs Moments, but images, video, voice calls, read-aloud and custom characters do. Premium includes 8,000 a month and Ultimate 15,000. The monthly grant doesn't roll over, while Moments you buy never expire.
How we wrote this. Every number here comes from Secrets.ai's own published product facts (last updated by the company on September 8, 2026) and its help wiki, checked on October 17, 2026. We haven't finished our own hands-on test. Prices are shown on each button before you confirm, so check there too.

What 8,000 Moments actually gets you
Using the prices above, Premium's monthly 8,000 Moments is roughly any one of these:
- 160 standard images, or
- 13 short 720p video clips, or
- about 2 hours 40 minutes of voice calls, or
- a mix, such as 60 images (3,000), 5 short clips (3,000) and 40 minutes of calls (2,000).
If you mostly chat in text, you may never touch your Moments. If you make a lot of video, you'll run out fastest: one 4K clip uses 5,400.
Top-up packs (paid plans only)
| Price | Moments | With Premium bonus | With Ultimate bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| $9.99 | 3,000 | 3,300 | 3,450 |
| $24.99 | 10,000 | 11,000 | 11,500 |
| $49.99 | 22,000 | 24,200 | 25,300 |
| $99.99 | 45,000 | 49,500 | 51,750 |
Larger packs exist up to $249.99. The company says there are no daily purchase limits, so set your own.
Do Moments roll over?
- Monthly grant: no. It resets on your renewal date.
- Bought (top-up) Moments: never expire, and can't be moved to another account.
- Upgrading mid-month from a monthly plan turns your unused grant into top-up Moments instead of losing them.
- After you cancel, you can use what's left until the paid period ends. See how to cancel Secrets.ai.
Free Moments
- 200 when you sign up.
- 100 for linking Discord and joining the server, and 25 for turning on push notifications (both one-time).
- 300 each time someone copies ("forks") a character you've published.
How to keep spending under control
- Start on Free and see whether text chat is enough for you.
- Choose monthly before annual. Annual is cheaper per month but paid up front.
- Check the Moments cost on the button before generating video or starting a call.
- Decide on a top-up limit in advance, because the site won't set one for you.
