Why people leave Instabang
- The trial jump. Its terms say every purchase, trials included, renews at the then-current one-month price. Reported prices: a 3-day trial at about $2.94, then about $29.95 a month.
- Automated messages. Its terms describe automated "While You Were Away" and "Icebreaker" messages, so not every message is typed by a person in real time.
- Fees and deadlines. Cancellation has to be done at least 24 hours before renewal, and failed renewal payments can carry a $2 to $5 fee per attempt.

AFF has the most flexible renewal controls of the three: you can switch auto-renew off, or pause it for one to three months, from the Billing History & Credit Card Info page as soon as you buy. It's also the biggest and longest-running community. The trade-off is its breach history, so use an email and password you don't use anywhere else.
If price was the problem: NaughtyCharm
NaughtyCharm's trials are cheap, but it has the same trial-to-monthly model as Instabang. Its Billing Policy says trials last one to seven days depending on your bank and then convert to a monthly plan. It's only a better deal if you untick every extra at checkout and cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
